Fantastic! I can not say enough good about Crossfit Revelstoke and Turner and Steph’s coaching! I considered my self fairly fit before I joined Crossfit. The change however has been nothing short of amazing. I have greater range of motion in all joints and hugely increased strength and stamina. I really appreciate the approach taken by Turner and Steph. They advocate good safe techniques and build a base strength before adding weights to prevent injury. It really feels like a personal approach. I also love the group dynamic and support created at crossfit. It feels very inclusive no matter what your fitness level. It’s fun! I would and do highly recommend Crossfit Revelstoke to everybody.

In September 2016, i decided to join Cross fit Revelstoke. What a great choice i made. Joining Cross fit Revelstoke helped me to get stronger and fitter to avoid injuries with my line of work. I am a ACMG ski guide. It means 120 days plus on my skis every winter.

Cross fit Revelstoke coaches cares about you! They don’t judge about your body type or your physical limitations. They are there to help you become stronger and fitter. All movments can and will be modified to fit you. The Coaches are always keeping an eye on you to make sure that the movements are done properly.

It sure made a difference at work and in my daily life.

I joined crossfit to improve my overall strength and fitness. I have always tried to do strength programs on my own but they have never stuck. Joining crossfit has exceeded by expectations. The variety in skills and workouts always keep it’s interesting and exciting. The coaches are always very positive and motivating. The athletes make the workouts easier to suffer through. After 2 month of consistent crossfit i’ve certainly noticed improvements in my ski, cycling, and swimming fitness. I’d highly recommend Crossfit Revelstoke to anyone. Courtney Rennie

Growing up, I never thought I was athletic – I was the girl sitting on the sidelines in gym class. It wasn’t until I was in my mid-20s that I realised how much I enjoyed mountain sports like trail running, mountain biking and downhill skiing. Even with these new active passions, I found that I was not getting much stronger – I became more aware of some of the instabilities and dysfunctions I had in my body. My ankles and knees were weak, I couldn’t do a sit up and I fatigued quickly. I was also finding that my metabolism was slowing making it hard to feel comfortable in my own skin and fit into my favourite jeans. That was when I decided to give something new a try – I found CrossFit Revelstoke. I started by taking their introduction “On Ramp” course. This was a great way for me to learn some of the basic movements with other beginners and gain confidence at this new athletic endeavour. Make no mistake, just because it is an introduction program doesn’t mean it’s easy. Every class got my heart pounding, reached muscles I never knew existed and challenged me both mentally and physically. After the 1 month “On Ramp” program I knew I could go ahead a sign up for the 6 month membership – I loved CrossFit! I have now been a member of this gym for 5 months and my progression surprises me daily. Through the well thought out “WODs” (workout of the day), Turner’s training has increased my cardiovascular strength so I no longer fatigue quickly, my ankles and knees no longer bother me and my core has never been stronger. My metabolism has been kicked into hard drive and now my favourite jeans are too big! Even more importantly, CrossFit has given me all round fitness so I am able to excel at the mountain sports I love and lower my risk of injury. Thank you CrossFit Revelstoke! Meagan Noel

I joined Revelstoke Crossfit last September and it’s been such a positive experience for me. I have old shoulder and neck injuries, so I started out cautiously. I’ve noticed in the last four months that I have had less pain in both areas and I’ve gotten stronger, slowly but surely! Steph and Turner are helpful and knowledgeable coaches, and a lot of fun!
